I’ve read about the Smart Grid and the pro’s and con’s. I’m for it and that means I’m for Opelika. This is a “feather” in Opelika’s Hat if it’s vote in. Seems as though there are some who are uninformed or have a hidden agenda for voting No. Opelika needs to move forward, not standby or move backwards. The Government ISN’T moving in on anyone with Smart Grid. The people of Opelika will OWN the system and will have “options”. They will be in control, NOT the Government. The Federal Government ISN’T involved at all. Wake up Opelika and do yourself a big favor.
