Afni joins several other civic clubs and organizations in the Adopt-A-Mile program. It is a litter prevention program sponsored by Keep Opelika Beautiful, Inc. in the City of Opelika to attract public involvement in picking up litter along the streets. Sponsors of the program agree to a minimum of four cleanups over a period of one year, with one of them coinciding with Keep Opelika Beautiful’s Citywide Cleanup.
