It’s just a week away. This years Victorian Front Porch Tour 2009. This annual event draws folks to Opelika each year. For several days you can drive the tour to see the Santa’s and decoration, the creation of Jan Jones, who moved from Opelika a few years ago. And one night, it’s a big walking tour on North 8th Street on Saturday Night. Lots of music and groups entertain thru the evening. Here’s an advance look at next weeks entertainment.

6:00 PM – Welcome/Trinity Singers at the Heritage House,714 2nd Ave
6:00 PM – Heritage Carolers at the Brownfield House,611 N. 8th St
6:30 PM – Opelika Violins at the Jernigan Home, 415 N. 8th St
6:45 PM – Southview Singers, Carver & Jeter Singers at the Rajan Lot, 311 N 9th St
7:00 PM – Auburn Music CLub Singers at the Brownfield House, 611 N 8th St
7:00 PM – Village Bells at the Kiefer Home, 511 N. 8th St
7-8:30 PM – Albert Killian – Storyteller - First Presbyterian Church, 900 2nd Ave
7:30 PM – Auburn Knights on the Rajan Lot, 311 N 9th St .
7:45 PM – OHS Chamber Choir at the Suhling Home, 304 N 8th St
8:00 PM – Kelly Marcades at the Brownfield House, 611 N 8th St
8:30 PM – Civic Chorale Carolers at Jim Sikes Home, 401 N 8th St
And there’s more! Don’t forget to stop at Trinity United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church for fellowship and refreshments. There will be wassail and cookies at the Brownfield House. The Heritage Carolers will be caroling throughout the neighborhood after their performance at the Brownfield House.
