It’s been a rough week at work. You know, some weeks are hard to get thru based on a variety of things. Projects, Deadlines and other stuff. So, as I’m getting in the truck around five, a car driving out of the Post Office Parking lot holler’s “Roll Tide”! Just a plain honest greeting. I needed it today! I gave him a “RTR”, which apparently makes me a real Alabama fan. Now, I know you’re wondering what in the world is going on. I did buy that Alabama shirt last weekend at Dicks Sporting Goods to wear on “Office Game Day” which is typically Friday. Crimson seem to be the dominate color on the programming side of the building, so why not. And I must say, it looks pretty good!
Then off for a salad and Octoberfest at Outback. Now, let’s remember that everyone there (almost) goes to Auburn, so there were lots of questions. Larry who brought my salad was an Alabama fan, so I felt like I could eat it. But, noone was angry or of harsh word. However, I was warned that me in an LSU shirt next week, could be a problem.

I don’t think you’re alone as an Alabama fan over there – I know several who live in your area! And, although I am from Mississippi, I have long been an Alabama fan (except when they play Ole Miss that is) and very much an anti-Auburn fan (that longtime feud with Tuberville), so go, Jerry! That Auburn orange really doesn’t look good on anyone! Now, if we could just bring you over to the McCain side – well, one tiny conversion step at a time.
